BALDWIN, WI – The B-W Hawks have wrapped up the regular softball season with a win and two losses beating New Richmond a week ago on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at home at the Mill Pond 9 to 4 with Kayla Furrer pitching the win in a full 7 inning matchup.

Then Hawks went to Osceola Thursday night, May 17 and found themselves on the losing end of a frustrating 1-2 ball game.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The B-W softball team continued their winning ways at Mill Pond on Tuesday, May 16, 2018 defeating visitors from New Richmond 9 to 4 with Kayla Furrer pitching a complete game for the win.

    Here are the highlights from the matchup: The Hawks scored nine runs on ten hits as they defeated the visiting Tigers from New Richmond 9-4.  The Hawks kept the Tigers in the game as they left eleven runners on base and committed a season high six errors defensively.

    BALDWIN, WI – The Baldwin-Woodville High (BWHS) boys golf team is off to a good start on the season especially given the winter weather conditions that delayed the teams from getting out on the links to practice this year.

  • BALDWIN, WI – So far on the season the B-W Hawks softball team has three wins and only one loss going into their game today vs. Ellsworth at Home at Millpond. That is a good start on the 2018 softball season.

    The Hawks really took it to Osceola here last Friday, April 27, 2018 with a big 12 -2 win.

  • B-W 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team completes season at State Invitational

    WOODVILLE, WI -- The Baldwin-Woodville 8th grade girls’ basketball team participated in the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament hosted by Stevens Point and Waupun on April 7 and 8, 2018.

  • B-W Destination Imagination 2018 season a success!

    BALDWIN–WOODVILLE, WI – After ten Baldwin-Woodville School District teams competed at the St. Croix Valley Regional Destination Imagination Tournament in Osceola, WI on March 10th, 2018, five teams (2 elementary, 1 middle level, and 2 secondary level) advanced to compete at the Wisconsin Affiliate Destination Imagination Tournament at UW-Stevens Point on March 24, 2018.

  • B-W Blackhawk 5th grade boys basketball team competes in State Invitational

    BALDWIN-WOODVILLE, WI – The Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawk 5th grade boys basketball team participated in the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament hosted by Appleton North and Kimberly on March 24 and 25, 2018. 

  • U12 BlackCats - 2018 State Consolation Champions

    BALDWIN, WI – The U12 BlackCats girls hockey team won the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey (WAHA) Region 6 Championship in February and earned the chance to represent the region at the WAHA State Tournament in Green Bay, Wisconsin on March 10-11, 2018.

  • BALDWIN, WI – We Baldwin Library folks think space is awesome and want to share it with you by bringing a free program on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  John Heasley of Driftless Stargazing is a NASA/Jet Propulsion Lab-trained speaker who travels around showing folks how to be a stargazer. 

    John was at the library last year for our eclipse program and his enthusiasm for the wonders of the cosmos is contagious!

    BALDWIN, WI -- The 2017/18 Battle of the Books season at Greenfield Elementary School had 143 4th and 5th graders participating on 38 teams and has now ended with some excellent competition and plenty of enjoyable reading along the way!

  • Cue the trombones for Viking Middle School’s ‘Music Man, Jr.’

    WOODVILLE, WI -- The cast of “Music Man, Jr” is made of over 120 Viking Middle School 6th-8th grade students. They have been rehearsing since January and are eagerly anticipating show weekend and the opportunity to share their gifts, talents, and hard work with parents, friends, and community.

    WOODVILLE, WI – On Thursday, February 15, 2018, Viking Middle School (VMS) held their local National History Day competition. 

  • Attention Baseball and Softball Players and Parents: Baldwin-Woodville Youth Ball Association will hold their try-outs for Summer Traveling Teams on March 11th.

    All players trying out must have Summer Rec forms and fees turned into the Community Education prior to tryouts. Registration forms and fees for Summer Rec will be accepted the day of tryouts.  All Try-outs will be held at the High School.
